Drag & Drop & Indent

We're proud to announce that Drag & Drop has been implemented(finally!), as well as todo indent. Now "One Line Todo" feels just like Google Tasks!

By default, every list will be shown in Drag & Drop order. You can change orders via menu/order by. Order preferences will be saved separately for every list. You can also change default order in settings. As for indent, long press on a todo and you'll see. The changes made by Drag & Drop & Indent will be synchronized to Google Tasks.

Another thing is that we now provide an adfree/donation key in the android market. If you like our app, please buy the key to show your support :) Thank you very much!

As always, enjoy! And leave a message if you have any thoughts!

  1. I really like your app. I've been trying to find a good app that integrates nicely with Google Tasks, and of all the ones I've tried I think I like yours the best. I'd like to make a few requests / recomendations.

I would like it if the rows were shorter. I don't use alarms for my most of my tasks, so it seems like wasted space to have "No alarm" taking as much height as the text of the task. I know that it's difficult to get sizing right on different phones, but on my 4.3" HTC Evo, the rows just seem to tall and take up too much space.
Thanks, awesome job on the app!

  2. Thank you for your interest in this app! I got your point, and I'll add an option to hide the "No alarm" row in the next version!

  5. Hi, great job & thanks--I finally found a task manager I can stand to use for more than a day.

Google integration is working very well.

I notice that 24hour time is not really supported, for example "Clean armpits @16:20 #romance" does not work for me... can this be added?

    Kind regards,
    - Arfonzo

  7. Hi! I'm from Germany and have an strange annoying Problem .. When there is. task due a day at eg. 10 o'clock then at 0.00h in the night the warnings go off. And they will be repeated every hour what is not that good while sleeping time... Is there a possibility to set the notification time?

Besides this problem I like the clean design and easy usage of your App very much!

  8. Another Hello and "Like it!" from Germany ... I am looking for a way to trash a single task. For example, sometimes I unintended add several empty tasks when wrestling with the Droid inputs, and then they clutter the list. -- Is deleting simple task implemented?

  9. A suggestion: As I have started to add more stuff into One Line Todo, I feel a Search function would be welcome when tracking things across multiple lists. Thank you!

  10. Hi. I just discovered your app, I've been loooking for a good gTasks app for ages and none of the existing ones seem to work nice and look nice too. I'm giving yours a try, and I like it so far. I'd like to point some feature suggestions, if you dont mind:

    1. Add color to list. I like that in widget tasks are coloured based on their due date, but I'm used to have a particular color for every tasklist. I group them by colour to split personal from work. This colour could be used on widget header, perhaps, as background replacing the blue one.

    2. Reorder tasklists. After my first gTasks sync, my main-primary list is way too far down the list.

    3. More widget sizes and options and info.
3.1. Sizes for all! From small 1x1 widgets with just a shortcut to a list, showing items left (by number, perhaps, colournote style), to 2x4 for vertical long lists, etc.
3.2. Lists colors: I'm used to having one color for working tasklists and ther for personal ones, for example. Now, widgets solour tasks based on their due date, but there is no difference between a "tomorrow" task in one or another list on the widget. I'd suggest adding one local option to store local colors for lists.
3.3. Options: Change the widget header background color using lists colors, keeping the blue one to "all-tasks" and label widgets.
3.4. Info: when you add a label widget or an all-lists widget, you don't see wich list every task belong to. Besides, every widget has the same headet text. This could be customized using list colors and the list name/tag name, etc.

For now I'm using free version, and will keep an eye on updates and blog entries. It's too soon to tell, I just found your app right now, but I would be glad to donate if this is actively developed even if my suggestions are not met.

    Keep up the good work!

  11. I love this app so much I bought the pro key, but after it worked perfectly for a week or so, it stopped syncing with google tasks. I get the "synchronization failed" error any time I try to sync. Any ideas?

  12. I love your app & the way it works, and was ready to buy the pro key, but then noticed a few bugs that prevent me from using it the way I would like.

First off, I notice that my battery is draining very quickly. I am guessing that this is due to all the alerts I am getting for daily tasks.

If I try to turn off the alarm on an individual repeating task, once I check it off as "completed," the alarm turns back on and has a due date of 1970!? Then I start getting alarms in my phone notification bar again because the alarm has turned back on.

Ideally, I would like to be able to turn off all notifications in the settings menu. This would solve both the problem with the battery and with the individual recurring tasks alarm turning back on.

  13. Hi eveningsun

I write a freeware todo list for Windows (http://www.codeproject.com/KB/applications/todolist2.aspx) and I was wondering if you would be available to discuss support for my XML file format?

  14. My task list needs are simple and your app meets them. But it is totally unacceptable because when there are more items than can be displayed no vertical scroll bar appears to indicate there are hidden items. The user has to remember he has more items than are displayed. That's a recipe for a missed task.

Google Tasks has a scroll bar that works the way I'm describing.
